Dozens of businessmen and businesswo- men from Clarence-Rockland, Orléans, and other neighbouring municipalities swar- med into Rockland Oct. 10 to occupy the grand salon at the RiverRock Inn for The Box Summit, a business conference aimed at fostering and encouraging innovation in the next generation of entrepreneurs. The Box is the brainchild of a tag-team effort by Rockland-based Focus Virtual HR and New Objective Business Solutions of Orléans. Focus spokesman Éric Desjardins noted that all the positive feedback and he and the other organizers received from par- ticipants who attended the various works- hops and speaker sessions during the Fri- day event indicates The Box summit was an idea whose time had come. “Everybody seemed to have had a great time,” Desjardins said. “The Box was all about thinking differently.
