Kibblewhite Engine Valves
Black Diamond TM Valves KPMI Black Diamond™ one pieced forged stainless steel valves are impregnated by a special German process to improve wear properties and reduce friction. Black Diamond™ valves undergo a proprietary post production heat treatment process that hardens the surface of the valve to a depth of about .002”, while leaving a ductile core. This makes the valve stems almost impervious to wear, without creating a brittle part. The valves go through an oxiding and polishing process which allows us to create an extremely smooth surface finish that is easy on the valve guide, and in many cases can be run with tighter clearances than a plated valve. Because this is not a coating or plating, there is nothing to flake off, and no danger of accelerated wear or seizure due to a coating flaking off and becoming trapped between the valve and guide.

White Diamond TM Valves KPMI fully CNC machine their White DiamondTM valves from a one- piece forging of either EV8 Stainless Steel or Inconel-751. These materials have proven heat and corrosion resistance properties and are hard chromed with a 30 degree anode to produce the highest possible grade of hard chrome finish.
