Software Update

3 On the devices list, click the device that failed to update the software and check the recovery code. 4 On another computer, launch Smart Switch . 5 Click → Emergency Software Recovery and Reset → Emergency code recovery . 6 Enter the recovery code and click OK . 7 Follow the on-screen instructions to put your device into recovery mode and complete the emergency recovery. Performing a Factory Data Reset The factory data reset restores the device’s default settings. This erases all data, including files and downloaded apps, from the device. Before performing the factory data reset, remember to make backup copies of all important data stored in the device. Samsung is not responsible for the loss of data stored in the device. which account you are signed in with. If your device is signed in to your Google account, log out of your Google account. If you do not log out of your Google account, logging in to another account after the factory data reset will not be possible, because your device will be locked.
