It’s been a record-breaking month for Punchline, again…
The Punchline team has been celebrating a number of record-breaking achievements. The last edition of the magazine was not only the biggest ever, it was also the biggest print run so far, with 15,000 copies delivered across Gloucestershire. But it’s not just in print that Punchline has been breaking records, www.punchline-gloucester.com has been setting them too. In July, 148,000 people were attracted to our unique blend of business news, comment and features. It has been nine years since Punchline-Gloucester. com first went live and more and more people are logging on to read trusted news from one of our expert team of journalists. In total 1.6million pages were read across the month of July and that lead to the editor being forced to take the team out for a celebratory meal at Greek on the Docks. And what’s more – the record set in July lasted for just one month with August’s figures smashing the previous record with 154,000 visitors and 1.7 million page views.
Punchline editor Mark Owen was unavailable for comment when asked if another night out was forthcoming for the team… Dodging that subject nicely, Mr Owen did want to thank the ever-increasing number of readers for choosing punchline-gloucester.com and our Punchline Daily newsletter for their daily digest of news.
