been characterized primarily by commercial and industrial activities, but new and diverse businesses have joined the area, including two craft brew pubs, a winery, and an artisan chocolate maker. The area is developing in tandem with Franklin County’s courthouse complex reconstruction and new administrative offices. Though the building is new, HRG is no stranger to the Chambersburg area. The firm assists both Chambersburg Borough and Greene Town- ship with their MS4 storm- water management programs,

and it has provided engineer- ing services on numerous com- mercial projects supporting the logistics industry along the I-81 corridor. “Our new office location brings us closer to the many clients we work with in Cham- bersburg and the surrounding municipalities,” Kick said. “We will continue to provide high-quality services to our existing clients as we expand our partnerships in Frank- lin County and southward along the I-81 corridor, into Northern Maryland and West Virginia.” 

HAMBERSBURG, PA — Herbert, Row- land & Grubic, Inc.

(HRG) will be moving from its current location on East Burd St. in Shippensburg to a new office building being constructed at 207 Grant St. in downtown Chambersburg. The site used to be home to the Jennings car dealership and has remained vacant for most of the time since the dealer- ship relocated to Norland Ave. The construction on this lot is just part of the exciting rede- velopment taking place within the area. Located at 111 North 2nd St. in Phila- delphia’s historic Old City neighborhood, the fitness cen- ter will occupy 3,200 s/f on the ground floor of the mixed-use project and will also feature a prominent cardio exercise deck across an additional 800 s/f of mezzanine space. A grand opening is projected for January 2019 once Level 1 relocates into its new suite along 2nd St. from its current location a few blocks away. Having been a mainstay in the Old City fitness community for well over a decade, Level 1 at The National will be uniquely positioned as both an amenity for residential tenants as well as an open-to-the-public fitness option for the community. Josh Weiss of MSC Retail served as the leasing agent for the tenant and landlord in this transaction. Weiss shared, “This full-service facility will capitalize on a unique model, acting as retail gym as well as a heavily discounted amenity for the residential tenants. We worked extensively with BPG and Level 1 to craft a formula that will prove beneficial for two communities, the resi- dents in the new apartments as well as the public at large, many of whom have been Level 1 clients for the past 10 years.” 
