CV BOOT INSTALLATION TOOL 2 piece, C.V. Boot installation tool, a handy tool for changing the C.V. boot if you don’t have a vice. Place boot on top of tongs and slide down over plastic cone (using a firm fluent motion) and then slide on to C.V. joint. The cone and boot should be lubricated for easy installation. Designed for fast and efficient installation of uni-fit boots on the CV joint. Apply lubricant to the cone then using the metal frame, stretch the boot to the end of the cone. Finally place over the CV joint to fit boot into place. The cone and boot should be lubricated before each use.
