Label Source Acquires Division Of OMNI Systems Label Source Inc., a provider of labeling solutions, has acquired a division of OMNI Systems located in Bogart, Georgia. This division was a long-time part of ITW Labels, which was recently acquired by OMNI Systems in a larger transaction. With the addition of the Bogart facility, Label Source operates more than 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space and has more than 150 employees. Vetaphone Launches Updated Corona Treater Vetaphone has introduced VE1A-M, an update to to its VE1A corona station designed to cope with a growing range of complex substrates and the re- quirements of new print and finishing technologies. VE1A-M is fully CE and UL approved and is avail- able with two, four, six and eight high-power ce- ramic electrodes in treatment widths of 292-872 mm and running speed of up to 300 meters per minute. It is fitted with an embedded rotation sensor, turning roller with low energy requirement, and an HP connector isolated from dust and ozone for longer life. Mark Andy has installed a VE1A-M model on a hybrid line in its European showroom facility in Warsaw, Poland. Esko Receives SOC 2 Certification Esko has underlined its commitment to safeguard- ing customer data and protecting it against unau- thorized access, data breaches, and other potential security risks, achieving SOC 2 Type 2 certification for its integrated software solutions. The certification assures Esko customers that their sensitive information, intellectual property, and other critical assets are secure and well-protected, assessing the organizations’ security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy controls against stringent criteria set by the Ameri- can Institute of Certified Public Accountants. The accreditation was completed less than a year after the company also successfully achieved the international standard on information security man- agement, ISO 27001, following a perfect 100 per- cent assessment of its policies and procedures.
