Weaving visual imagery and yoga philosophy with somatic yoga practice, I encourage students to strengthen the connections between body, mind, and spirit. ASTRONOMY 101: WHAT’S UP IN THE FALL NIGHT SKY? with Rich Lohman

When you look up at the night sky can you distinguish a planet from a star? Can you identify the constellations in the Fall sky? If you have these questions, then this is the class where you can find the answers and a whole lot more. Join us in this basic orientation to the night sky: identifying stars, planets and constellations AND learning about the beautiful objects up there that you can’t see just with your eyes. Join us for a rejuvenating Crystal Bowl Sound Bath, starting with 15 minutes of gentle movement to awaken the body and release tension. This will be followed by a 45-minute sound bath, where the soothing vibrations of crystal singing bowls will envelop you. Sound baths are an ancient healing practice that use sound frequencies to promote deep relax- ation and emotional release, drawing from traditions that date back thousands of years.
