ANGUS BULLS
A phenotypic favorite of ours sired by Virginia Tech Statesman. This 6-frame Statesman son offers a big spread from calving ease to weaning. He started off at 63 pounds at birth and weaned off at 776 pounds and ratioed a 103. Maternal brothers have sold to Rick Thelen, Russel Kelley, and Split Creek Cattle. His Mogck Bullseye dam is 10 years old and is one of our stoutest, most docile, deepest- ribbed cows on the farm. She milks excellent, has a nice, square udder and holds her flesh year round. This bull, too, will be 18 months at turnout and can be used on heifers.

Much like the Lot 7 bull, this 6-plus- frame Statesman should work excellent on heifers or cows and will be 18 months of age at turnout. This bull offers quite a spread from birth to weaning, starting out with a 70-pound birth weight and weaning off at 722 pounds, ratioing a 100 at weaning. His 12-year-old dam descends from the well-known Sand Creek Ranch. If you’re needing a bull that will add weaning weight to your calf crop while adding carcass value, too, all while maintaining maternal traits and foot quality, this bull should be an excellent choice..
