PARKING Free parking all day every day. General parking is available: • West Lot, enter from South Locust Street onto State Fair Blvd
ATMS Ready cash may be obtained from ATMs located throughout the Fairgrounds. See map at centerfold of this book for locations. WASH YOUR HANDS When visiting animals and before eating and after visiting barns, we strongly urge you to wash your hands at nearby handwashing stations. It is a vital step to stop the spread of germs. PETS Pets, except for registered service animals, are not allowed on the Fairgrounds. PUMP & PANTRY C-STORE Pump & Pantry C-Store, at the main intersection, sells snacks, cold drinks, sunscreen, bandages, sunscreen, safety pins, hats and other items that families may have forgotten. WEAPONS Guns, knives and all other weapons are strictly prohibited on the Fairgrounds. ALCOHOL To safeguard exhibitors, livestock and the public, the Nebraska State Liquor Control Commission Laws will be enforced. ONLY alcohol procured at a Nebraska State Fair licensed location is permitted. NO outside alcohol is allowed to be brought onto the Fairgrounds. No one under the age of 21 is permitted to consume or possess alcoholic beverages. Excessive use of alcohol will not be tolerated. State Fair Authority including Staff, Security, and the Nebraska State Patrol may be called if necessary. Walk around beverage consumption is available only when an ID Checked Adult (age 21 or over) is wearing the appropriate daily issued wristband, on the correct wrist, and when the Adult has the beverage in State Fair approved cup or koozie. SMOKING/VAPING In accordance with the 2008 Nebraska Clean Indoor Air Act, smoking and vaping are prohibited in ALL buildings. In addition, smoking and vaping are not allowed in the Family Fun Zone, TD Landing, or within 20 feet of any building entrances. TOWING (308) 384-1116 Towed vehicle services are provided by Kramer’s Wrecker Service. They also assist with flat tires and minor vehicle troubles at no-cost to the Fair patron. PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEOGRAPHY By entering the Fairgrounds, you hereby consent to and authorize the use of your photograph, image, or reproduction thereof, printed or otherwise, in connection with advertising, promotional and publicity purposes without limitation or compensation. There are two off-site parking locations throughout Grand Island where you can catch shuttles to and from the Fair. Shuttles start at 9 a.m. For exact times, please see the shuttle bus schedule at any of the locations during Fair. Shuttle buses leave the off-site location at the top of the hour and depart the Fairgrounds at the bottom of the hour. Off-site locations include: • Sam’s Club • Monday - Friday: 1 p.m. - 11 p.m. • Saturday - Sunday: 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. • Labor Day, Monday, September 1: 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. Hours may change due to weather or other circumstances. RIDE WRISTBANDS Wristbands are available to purchase at the carnival beginning August 22. • Weekday (Monday–Thursday, excluding Labor Day): $37 • Weekend (Friday-Sunday, Labor Day): $42 • Ride card * : $1.75 per credit or 8 credits for $12, 20 credits for $25 or 50 credits for $50 *All cards have a onetime activation fee from Wade Shows. • Central Community College WADE SHOWS CARNIVAL Hours: EMERGENCY SERVICES In the event of an emergency, call 911. For all other assistance, look for help from any patrol officer, staff member or volunteer. FIRST AID SERVICE For minor medical services, Bryan Health First Aid Stations are located at the north end of the Welcome Center and next to security by Food Pod 7. SCOOTERS AND WHEELCHAIRS A limited number of rentals are held for walk-up guests each morning and after 3 p.m. Reserve in advance at www.htmia. com (no fee) or by phone at (712) 938-2029, Mon–Fri 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. (daily hours start the weekend before the Fair; $5 phone fee). All rentals available main gate and Gate 6A (ADA lot). Photo ID required. Scooter supply is limited—reserve early! SENSORY KITS AVAILABLE NEW! Sensory kits containing noise reduction earmuffs, fidgets and other sensory friendly items are available to borrow at the Welcome Center at no cost to our guests. MOM’S NURSING LOUNGE The Mom’s Nursing Lounge at the Welcome Center offers a private, climate-controlled area for moms and their babies. Educational information will also be available. TRAM SERVICE Courtesy transportation, via tractor-drawn tram, is provided on the Fairgrounds. Trams on the Fairgrounds are free to guests and are sponsored by Aurora Coop. See map at centerfold of this book for their route.

Gate admission, carnival tickets and event tickets are all avail- able ahead of Fair at statefair.org. Purchase gate admission at the gate via self-serve kiosks and carnival tickets at the Wade Shows ticket boxes. INFORMATION KIOSKS Visit volunteers at our info kiosks, presented by Chief Industries, and ask them just about anything! Food recommendations, locations of events, for a map, etc. NEBRASKA STATE FAIR VOLUNTEERS You can’t miss the many volunteers around the Fair. They all wear bright shirts and are on grounds to help answer questions. Take a second to thank them! If you’d like to volunteer, you can sign up at statefairvolunteer.org before August 22. BIKE RACKS Bike Racks are east of the 4-H/FFA Fieldhouse on Fonner Park Road. Bring your own lock. Bike racks can be accessed from Gate 6 all day, every day. RESTROOMS Restrooms are located throughout the grounds. Restrooms inside buildings are only available during the respective building hours. Please wash your hands often with hot water and soap, especially after eating, visiting barns, petting animals, etc.
