The number of townhome listings in Richmond decreased to 317 in August, 5% above the previous month but a 34% decrease vs August 2019. The 92 townhome sales in August were 5% below July but 70% higher year-over-year. The townhome sales-to-listings ratio decreased to 29%, as Richmond’s townhome market remained in seller’s market territory. The benchmark price for townhomes in August was $806,900, 0.6% above July and 4% higher than in August 2019. The average sold price was $864,641 (0.8% below July) with an average PSF sales price of $591 (unchanged vs July).
