The 99 detached listings in Squamish in August were down 7% compared to July and 21% below August 2019. August’s detached sales (at 29) increased by 16% month-over-month and rose 45% year-over-year. The sales-to-listings ratio in August increased to 29%, as Squamish’s detached segment remained in seller’s market territory. At $988,900, the benchmark price for detached homes was 0.5% below July and 0.7% lower vs August 2019. The average sold price of $1.17M was 1.0% above July and 32% higher vs August 2019.
