The 1,681 detached listings in Surrey in August were up 0.7% month-over-month but 17% lower year-over-year. August’s detached sales (465 homes) were 0.4% below July but 81% higher vs August 2019. The sales-to-listings ratio was unchanged in August, to 28%, as Surrey’s detached market remained in seller’s market territory. At $1.12M, the benchmark price for detached homes was 1.1% above July and 7% higher vs August 2019. The average sold price of $1.20M was 0.8% lower month-over-month but 8% above August of last year.
