Q&A
“My message to local installers is simple: I want to get to know you and understand your business. Whether you are an established installer or just starting out, I am keen to hear your views and explore how Phoenix Energy can support you.”
and play a vital role in delivering safe, efficient heating systems. I want to provide practical support through regular communication, product updates, technical information and by ensuring installers have access to the right people within Phoenix Energy. As I meet more installers, I am looking forward to hearing what works well, where improvements can be made and how we can work together more effectively. I hope the local trade benefits from engaging with Phoenix, because we want to build genuine partnerships that support business growth while helping customers make informed energy choices. Are there any early insights you can offer as a newcomer to the industry? It’s clear that the heating industry is changing rapidly as customers look for more efficient and lower-carbon heating solutions. This creates significant opportunities for installers who continue to develop their skills and embrace new technologies. In my opinion, the biggest challenge is keeping pace with changing regulations, customer expectations and evolving technologies. That is why collaboration between manufacturers,
energy providers and installers is more important than ever. Natural gas continues to provide an efficient and reliable heating solution for many homes today, while renewable gases such as biomethane have the potential to play an increasingly important role in helping reduce carbon emissions as part of the wider energy transition. Good customer service means being accessible, listening carefully and doing what you say you will do. People appreciate honesty and consistency. My message to local installers is simple: I want to get to know you and understand your business. Whether you are an established installer or just starting out, I am keen to hear your views and explore how Phoenix Energy can support you. I encourage members of the trade to get in touch whenever they have questions, ideas or feedback. The
stronger our collaboration, the better we can work together for the benefit of customers. If I could ask installers one question, it would be ‘What can Phoenix Energy do differently to help your business grow?’ Success over the next year would mean building trusted relationships across the installer community, increasing engagement with the trade and ensuring Phoenix Energy is recognised as a valued and supportive partner throughout Northern Ireland.
