ABOUT THE COOK
Willemien loves cooking for friends and family, drawing inspiration from them to try new and different recipes. One of her favourite chefs is Yotam Ottolenghi, who inspired her to make this ice cream. The reason for submitting this recipe is that there are many vegetarians in the Valley, and she thought it would be enjoyed by all. She and her partner have been living in the Valley for nine years and are very happy to reside in such an eclectic and vibrant community. Being retired, she has time on hand to spend in the kitchen. They also do quite a bit of traveling, including camping trips into neighbouring countries.
