CHOCOLATE LUSH HAZEL NASON
In the 1970s in South Africa, old fashioned and quick recipes using easily available pantry ingredients, were popular. Chocolate Lush is a simple, thick, self-saucing pudding made with cocoa, giving it a unique not-too-sweet flavour. The recipe has been passed down through generations - Hazel learned it from her mom who had been making it since 1947. It has become a beloved family favourite, enjoyed by children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. The recipe is versatile and can be easily doubled for larger gatherings, ensuring there are never any leftovers. Hazel is grateful that their mother passed down this cherished recipe for everyone to enjoy repeatedly.
