INGREDIENTS
Preheat oven. Sift dry ingredients, except sugar, three times and set aside.

STEP 2 Beat eggs and sugar until light and creamy (about 10 minutes). STEP 3 Add oil and vanilla essence and beat for another 5 minutes.
Bicarbonate of soda

Mixed spice

Ground cloves

STEP 4
Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Add sifted dry ingredients into mixture and combine well. Pour into prepared tins and bake until done. Allow to cool completely. Cream together ingredients for frosting and decorate cake as desired.
