HAPPY NEW TRAVELS Srećna vam nova putovanja
Decembar December
Together towards new horizons
Dear passengers, As the end of an exceptional year draws near, we are particu- larly pleased to look back on all our achievements. We leave be- hind a period of strong growth and important advancements – wi- th records broken in the number of passengers carried and flights operated, while August 2025 has been inscribed in our company’s history as the most successful month so far. We’ve added a new wide-body Airbus A330-200 to our fleet and have also elevated the flight experience of our business-class passengers by opening a premium check-in zone at Belgrade Ni- kola Tesla Airport. We’ve also launched scheduled flights to Shan- ghai, Mykonos, Sardinia and Tbilisi, while our network now also inc- ludes Florence and Geneva once again. Over the course of the past year, we’ve also presented our new visual identity and slogan – “Tradition elevated.” The combi- nation of heritage and modern expression confirms Air Serbia’s role as a true ambassador of Serbian culture and hospitality. Our efforts to represent Serbia in the best possible way are increasin- gly being recognised, as proven by the awards and honours we receive. We are particularly pleased with the recognition from Skytrax, which ranked us among the 100 best airlines in the world and among the top three in Europe. For the second consecutive year, readers of Global Traveler magazine proclaimed us the best airline in Eastern Europe. Thanks to the trust you place in us and the dedication of our employees, we are boldly planning our future steps. We will con- tinue in the year ahead to set high goals and improve all aspects of our operations. It is with great pleasure that we announ- ce that in May 2026, after a break of more than three decades, we will once again launch a direct servi- ce to Toronto – representing another bridge that connects Serbia to the world. On behalf of the entire Air Serbia team, we wish you happy holidays and a successful new year. Thank you for choosing to fly with us – as we journey towards new heights and new horizons.
Uspostavi- li smo letove ka Šangaju, Mikonosu, Sardiniji i Tbilisi- ju, a naša mreža ponovo obuhvata i Firencu i Ženevu.

From the cold January morning that marked the departure of the first plane bound for Shanghai, through spring in the spirit of the Mediterranean and summer flights to Mykonos and Sardinia, to announcements for Toronto that arrived in autumn: the map of the world has become richer, while travel is more accessible than ever before. The Far East is ever closer The new year brought one of the boldest network expansions in the history of the Serbian national airline: a direct Belgrade-

Shanghai route. This flight connecting Serbia with one of the world’s biggest economies opened the door to new connections in business, tourism and culture. Many viewed this particular flight as symbolising the spreading of Air Serbia‘s wings – self-assured, ambitious and globally oriented. Mediterranean spring As the days became longer, Air Serbia continued building air bridges between Belgrade and Europe’s most beautiful coastal destinations. April saw the reinstatement of a regular flight to Florence, the pearl
of Tuscany and a city of art that’s always fashionable. June brought the introduction of flights to Mykonos, one of the most spectacular Greek islands, but also to Sardinia’s Alghero – a city of pastel façades, cobblestone streets and the scent of the sea. These destinations didn’t only complement the network, but also showed how travellers from Belgrade are increasingly opting for summer holidays that combine authenticity, nature and a positive life rhythm. In the spirit of new connections Air Serbia took flight in early summer for Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia – a land with a fascinating history, wines and landscapes that connect the Caucasus and the Black Sea. Flights to Tbilisi introduced Serbian travellers to a new region – one where East and West connect in every bite of khachapuri and every view of the mountain peaks. The same period saw the renewal of regular

Air Serbia flights to Geneva, one of Europe’s most important hubs, which served to further strengthen business and diplomatic ties between Serbia and Switzerland. Announcement of the year: Toronto The autumn period was marked by a news story that generated the most excitement: the announcement of a direct Belgrade- Toronto route, with tickets are already on sale. Scheduled to launch in May 2026, this marks Air Serbia’s return to North America with a destination that’s long been on the wish list of members of the Serbian diaspora, but also all fans of Canada. This route doesn’t just represent another regular departure, but also the symbolic connecting of continents, families and stories.

From the Far East to North America, Air Serbia is building a network that connects the world W e are preparing to leave 2025 behind, a year in which Air Serbia has once again expanded its horizons - from the Far East to the Mediterranean and North America, connecting passengers with Shanghai, Florence, Mykonos, Tbilisi, Sardinia, Geneva and, coming soon, Toronto

ODBROJAVANJE JE POČELO / THE COUNTDOWN HAS COMMENCED
DAYS TO EXPO DANA DO EKSPA
2027
Jusein Bolt, najbrži čovek planete, postao brend ambasador izložbe i oličenje njene energije, snage i duha igre.
Beograd će ugostiti i forume poput „Džajteksa“ (GITEX), potvrđujući svoj status kao no- vog centra inovacija i ideja. Svi putevi vode ka 15. maju 2027: Srbija spremna, svet dolazi.

After “I have a dream”, the “we make it happen” phase has begun T his is the year when Ser- bia’s dreams became reali- ty, while the idea of an in- ternational exhibition in Belgrade has already gained its first tangible contours. The last day of 2025 marks the start of the countdown: 500 days until the first expo to be held in the Western Balkans. Serbia shone at Expo 2025 Osaka with its “Floating Forest” pavilion, inspired by Belgrade’s Great War Island. In recogni- tion of its innovative combination of tra- dition and technology, Serbia’s pavilion won the silver award for theme devel- opment and received accolades for tech- nological integration, while more than a million visitors were left with the impres- sion of Serbia as an inspiring and unify- ing country. Standing side by side with famous Osa- ka Expo mascot Myaku Myaku, Serbia’s own expo mascots - a boy and a girl sym- bolising play and imagination, made their premiere appearance in Japan in April. Wearing costumes inspired by tradition and the spirit of play, they won over vis- itors with their cheerfulness and ener- gy, bringing the spirit of a host nation that combines heritage and moderni- ty. Their official names will be symboli- cally revealed on the day that marks 500 days until the start of the Expo in Serbia – with those names having been chosen
through the public votes of tens of thou- sands of people over the course of sever- al months. The year 2025 was also marked by two world-famous names. Usain Bolt, the fastest man on the planet, became a brand ambassador of the exposition, as a figure that embodies its energy, strength and the spirit of play. He was joined in September by Jackie Chan, a legendary actor whose work links East and West, but also tradition and modernity. They jointly became the faces of a global sto- ry of connection that serves as proof that Serbia isn’t just building an exhibition space, but a stage on which the world can become a single community. To ensure the spirit of the Expo can be felt long before the gates open in 2027, July 2025 saw the opening of the Ex- po 2027 Playground, an interactive space in Hall 5 of the Belgrade Fair that cov- ers an area exceeding 2,500 square me- tres. Conceived as a laboratory of play, knowledge and encounters, this multi- media space presents an active vision of what the world can expect to see in 2027. The Expo 2027 Playground hosts daily workshops, exhibitions and family pro-
grammes that combine art, music and science – the very same themes that rep- resent the beating heart of the concept Game(s) for Humanity. Don’t miss the chance to experience this place. More than 4,000 people are working at the location of the future Expo in Surčin on a daily basis. They’re engaged day and night, using the most modern machinery to erect pavilions and install roads and in- frastructure that will soon welcome more than four million visitors. It is here that we’re witnessing the birth of a new part of Belgrade that will remain as a lasting legacy for generations to come. The most exciting chapter begins in 2026: the presentation of the Expo pro- gramme, complete with more than 8,000 events encompassing culture, science and sport. Belgrade will also host forums like GITEX, thus confirming its status as a new hub of innovation and ideas. Serbia has great challenges ahead of it, but al- so opportunities: Expo 2027 is the sto- ry of a country that believed in itself and became a host to the world. And all roads lead to 15 th May, 2027: Serbia is ready, the world is coming.

Tivoli, kanali i šareni Nihavn
Kopenhagen je u decembru zaista bajkovit: obojene kuće uz kanale, svetla ulica i miris cimeta stvaraju pravu zimsku atmosferu. Prestonica Danske spaja istoriju i moderni životni ritam. Obavezno probajte ebleskiver, pe - čene bademe i glog, topli začinski napitak. Tivoli kombinuje zabavu, gastronomiju i vi - zuelni spektakl, što ga čini nezaobilaznim.

Tivoli, canals and the picturesque Nyhavn Copenhagen is a true fairytale location in De- cember: with colourful canal houses, brightly lit streets and the scent of cinnamon creating a real winter wonderland atmosphere. The Da- nish capital combines history and a modern li- festyle. Founded as a fishing village back in the 10 th century, Copenhagen is today known for its canals, cycle lanes, palaces and museums. And the city takes on an extra dimension in winter – with festive decorations, Christmas markets and outdoor activities making it a must-visit de- stination in December. City centre fairytale Tivoli Gardens, an amusement park that ope- ned in 1843, becomes a proper winter attracti- on in December: its paths are illuminated wi- th thousands of lights, while themed rides and stalls offering food and drinks create an authen- tic holiday experience. Be sure to try æbleskiver spherical snacks, roasted almonds and glogg, a sweet mulled wine. Tivoli combines fun, ga- stronomy and visual spectacles, making it an unmissable destination. City of fjords and nature
The Norwegian capital is located on the coast of the Oslofjord inlet and is surrounded by forests and hills. Founded in the 11 th century, Oslo has been the centre of Norwegian politics, trade and culture throughout the centuries. It today combi- nes urban life with direct access to nature, whi- ch is particularly noticeable during winter. Christmas market Spikersuppa is home to the main Christmas market in Oslo city centre, complete with an ice rink, food stalls and handicraft items. He- re visitors can try Norwegian specialities, hot chocolate and cakes while enjoying the festive atmosphere. Cultural stops The Munch Museum and Viking Ship Museum offer art and history in closed spaces, while the Oslo Opera House is a popular place to stro- ll and take in panoramic views of the fjord. The Vigeland Park, with its more than 200 sculptu- res, is particularly impressive under snow cover.
Nature and excursions Take the city’s metro or catch a bus to quickly reach forest trails and hills where it’s possible to engage in activities like sleigh riding or winter running. Holmenkollen, which is famous for its ski jump, offers panoramic views of Oslo and its fjord. Oslo combines an urban rhythm, cultural attractions and natural lands- capes, which create an authentic experience in December.

CAB will attempt to reevaluate the worth of its collection through three major exhibitions. With the inclusion of more than 400 works and 150 artists, this exhibition presents the development of art in Serbia and Yugoslavia during the first half of the 20 th century, in a dialogue with social, political and cultural changes. Visitors will have an opportunity to overview the key trends in the moderni- sation of art in a regional and international context. Through several thematic and chronological elements, this exhibi- tion monitors stylistic movements from symbolism, impression- ism and post-cubist expressions, via avant-garde experiments and constructivist practices, to various forms of realism and engaged art. The exhibition places special emphasis on the connection be- tween art and society, i.e. on the ways art reflects or comments on social reality, but also on the ways it participates actively in shaping society.

A t the beginning of 1962, as parts of the Afri- can continent were undergoing profound geo- political transformations and emerging from the era of colonial rule, a group of travellers embarked on a months-long journey through Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, Somalia, Kenya and Tanganyika. The expedition, enti- tled The Caravan of Friendship and led by Tibor Sekelj, was born out of a belief that encounters between peo- ple can create spaces of understanding.
The exhibition “Recording Africa: The Travel Lens of the Caravan of Friendship” at the Museum of African Art in Belgrade (until 13 th April, 2026) opens this journey through the eyes of Film News cameraman Branko Mar- janović, a member of the expedition whose photo album today stands as both document and personal diary—a testimony to an era, but also an invitation to read the echoes of his explorations through landscapes yet to be unexplored by his lens. Carefully created, Branko’s pho- to album, which was exclusively a family memento for decades, has today become part of a kind of memory cabinet: an archive in which public and personal histo- ry, professional testimony and the intimate need to re- cord and preserve are interwoven.
