Ukus češkog Božića u Beogradu
A TASTE OF CZECH CHRISTMAS IN BELGRADE
Atmosferu božićnog vašara ulepšaće tradicionalna osve- ženja poput kuvanog vina, tople me- dovine i drugih delikatesa. I za najmla- đe posetioce biće spreman poseban program. Zato, uživajte u božićnim praznicima na češki način iako niste u Pragu – isti doživljaj biće u Beogradu.
Christmas is primarily about gathering and tradition, though everyone experiences it in slightly different ways. And this year we’ll be able to experience the true spirit of a Czech Christmas at the very heart of Belgrade. That’s because, in early December, Belgrade’s Czech House (Svetozara Markovića 79) will come alive with traditional Christmas tree decora- tions and handmade glass decorations from the world’s largest collection. Attracting special attention will be the unique decorations made of glass beads from Pon- iklá. This specific technique, which is pre- served exclusively in Czechia, was added to the UNESCO list of intangible cultural herit- age in 2020. Visitors will have an opportunity to observe Czech glassblowers or to experi- ence firsthand the making of these glass dec- orations in workshops. A pop-up charity shop will also be opened and will allow you to buy handmade decorations from renowned Czech companies. The Christ- mas market atmosphere will be boosted thanks to traditional refreshments like mulled wine, warm mead and other delicacies. There is al- so a special program for the youngest visitors. All of this is why you should enjoy the Christmas holidays in the Czech way despite not being in Prague – everything is the same in Belgrade.
Bilo da se odlučite za božić ne markete, vatromet ili koncerte, Beograd vas neć e razočarati / Whether you opt for Christmas markets, fireworks or concerts, Belgrade will not disappoint you
