Debutante Miss Zora Ase’ Natrice Brown
ora Ase’ Natrice Brown is the daughter of Larissa D. Brown. Zora attends Walsh Jesuit High School. Zora is taking Honors and Advanced Placement classes. She is Vice-President of the Walsh Jesuit Diversity Club and participated in the Junior Leadership Akron Program. She is a member of the Colorguard, Orchestra, Arrupe Leadership Summit, The National Society of High School Scholars, The Track and Field Team, and Captain of the Dance Team. Her community involvement includes serving as President of the NAACP Youth Council. When asked why she wanted to become a debutante, she replied, "I would like to be a debutante to expose myself to a new experience and to learn more about the power I hold as a young black woman in society.” In letters of recommendation, Zora is described as having the drive to succeed in academics. Her passion for learning propelled her to being one of the top students in her graduating class. She has compassion for others and a respect for her community. Her energy and passion shine bright as gold.
Upon graduation, Zora plans to attend Harvard University and major in Neuroscience.
