Debutante Miss Aaliyah Renay Golden
aliyah Renee Golden is the daughter of Latesha S. Dampeer and the late Alfonso Golden Jr. She attends Buchtel Community Learning Center. She is a member of the 3.5 club, National Honor Society, and basketball team. She serves as a star entrepreneurship teacher, student ambassador, member of student council, and a peer mediator. Aaliyah enjoys playing basketball, spending time with her family, and shopping. When asked why she wanted to become a debutante, she replied, “I would like to be a debutante so I can learn more ways to be polished and feel like myself.” In letters of recommendation, Aaliyah is described as reliable, well spoken, a nd a natural born leader who is dedicated to her studies. Upon graduation, Aaliyah plans to study physical therapy with a minor in real estate while attending The Ohio State University.
