Debutante Miss Flor Rendon
lor Rendon is the daughter of Ms. Angela Sanchez. She attends Buchtel Community Learning Center. Flor is on the Honor Roll and participates in the West Side Writers Club, the Computer Software Pathway while taking advanced placement and college classes. Flor enjoys baking, playing with her dogs, spending time with her younger sister, and going on walks. When asked why she wanted to become a debutante, she replied, “I want to be a debutante because it seems like a great opportunity to be out in the community and help the community become better. I can also learn from the process.” In letters of recommendation, Flor is described as a top student and works hard to prepare herself for college. She is hard working, kind, and extremely respectful. She accepts challenges with an open-mind and has a willingness to learn. Upon graduation, Flor plans to attend The University of Akron and major in Accounting and Psychology.
