REFERRAL PROGRAM FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT ARE THE RULES?
Most simply, any resident or tenant of an ESRT-owned building can refer a contact interested in office space. If the referral ends up in a signed office lease at any ESRT-owned building, the referrer earns $5,000. If someone else has already referred a tenant, we will let you know.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I REFER SOMEONE? Once you submit your referral’s information in the Referral Form, the ESRT leasing team will reach out to them. There is no set time for how long this process will take. ESRT will reach out if your referral signs a qualifying lease. IF I QUALIFY, WHEN AND HOW WILL I BE PAID? Once your referral officially signs a lease, ESRT will reach out to request your latest W-9 form and preferred mailing address. A check will be sent out to you within 2 weeks of receiving your information. Please note that you will be solely responsible for all applicable taxes associated with the reward.

HOW MANY REFERRALS CAN I MAKE? There is no limit to the number of referrals you can make. You can receive the $5,000 reward for every qualifying referral that ends in a signed lease. Only one reward will be paid in connection with each qualifying referral.
