Saturday 27 June Founder’s Day 2015

The theme of Founder’s Day 2015 will be ‘Discovery and Endurance’, marking the centenary of Sir Ernest Shackleton’s Imperial Trans-Antarctica Expedition. Throughout the day we will celebrate the ingenuity and tenacity of this legendary OA and his influence upon current pupils. Activities will start with the opening ceremony at 2.15pm and conclude with the evening fireworks concert. New events will include an OA tent, a Creative Trail and viewing of the recently completed James Caird Hall in The Laboratory. @ DCFoundersDay
