The President thanked the Hon Treasurer for his meticulous work on behalf of the Club. Adoption of the accounts was proposed by the Ven P R Turner CB DL and seconded by T J Birse. 3. The President proposed, and there was unanimous agreement, that following grants for 2015, having been published in the Yearbook, should be approved en bloc : • £1,000 to the College for Alleyn Club Prizes • £1,000 to the Master’s Fund for sponsorships (through the OA Endowment Fund) • £500 to the OA Clubhouse Fund • £50 to each of the Old Alleynian Sporting Clubs if required by these Clubs Other grants • £2,000 to Alleynian Sailing Society to cover charter fee for boys’ sail training week 4. The nominations were proposed by I F Hay Davison CBE, seconded by J R Williams and approved unanimously.

5. Endorsement of Trustees of the OA Endowment Fund

The President recommended the endorsement of M R A Graham, P Petyt, I W Warburton and T Woudhuysen as trustees of OAEF in succession with immediate effect and of J H Rosslyn-Smith w.e.f. 1 January 2015 in succession to T Llewelyn whose allotted term of office expires on 31 December 2014. The recommendations were accepted unanimously.  (i) The Secretary reported that the Cricketer Cup honours boards were now mounted at the east end of the Pavilion Salle above the 1st XI and 1st XV honours boards. (ii) The immediate Past President, Brigadier E J W Walker OBE DL, announced that he had secured a site in St George’s Church, Ypres, for a plaque to be displayed commemorating the OAs and members of staff who had lost their lives in World War I. Brigadier Walker’s generosity met with overwhelming approbation. (iii) The President extended his good wishes to the Vice President for his forthcoming year of office. (iv) T J Walsh thanked the President for the time and dedication which he had given during his year as President. He had been a wonderful President. 6.  Any other business
