FYZICAL Therapy. How To Solve Daily Aches & Pains

Patient Success Spotlight “Pleasant, personable, and professional!” “Following my rotator cuff surgery, I was a bit apprehensive about fac- ing months of PT. The friendly atmosphere at FYZICAL made me feel relaxed. The entire staff made the unbearable bearable and the intoler- able tolerable. My therapist was pleasant, personable and professional. I am looking forward to continuing my care at home and getting back to my normal. I would highly recommend FYZICAL for anyone’s health needs and would come back myself if necessary.” - D.L.

Healthy Recipe Slow Cooker Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal

Erin Magee Clinical Care Specialist

INGREDIENTS • cooking spray, butter or coconut oil • 1 cup steel-cut oats • 2½ cups water • 1½ cups unsweetened almond milk • 1 cup pumpkin • 3 tbsp maple syrup • 1 tsp vanilla • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice • 1/2 tsp cinnamon • ¼ tsp salt

Erin joined FYZICAL in 2005 back when we were still PTC as a medical billing specialist. Since then, she has worked her way to running the front office of our Bristol location. You can expect to be greeted by her warm smile and genuine compassion every time you enter our Bristol office. In her free time, Erin enjoys going to see live music, heading down to the shore, hiking, and spending time with her loved ones.

DIRECTIONS Coat your slow cooker with cooking spray, butter or coconut oil. Add all the ingredients into slow cooker and mix well. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. If you have a programmable slow cooker, set it to cook on low for 7 hours and then switch to warm. In the morning, give the oats a good stir as the oats will settle to the bottom. Portion into a bowl to serve and top with pecans, maple syrup and almond milk. Source:https://www.eatingbirdfood.com/slow-cooker-pumpkin-pie-oatmeal
