Cont. pg. 3 STRATEGIC PLANNING COMMITTEE At the annual meeting in March of 2024, the TVCA Board approved a revised Strategic Plan that was presented by the Strategic Planning Task Force. To monitor and report on progress with plan activities, the Board is changing the Task Force into a permanent advisory committee. As such, new Committee members are needed. If you have experience or interest in planning, forecasting and community service, please send a note detailing your expertise to: Bill Reimer (billreimer77@gmail.com) Board liaison to the Committee. PEAKS SNACK SHACK & RANCH SHACK OPENING: The Ranch Snack Shack and Scoreboard will open for the season on October 22nd, followed by the Peaks Shack on the 30th. Both snack shacks will be open from 9 AM to 3 PM, seven days a week. Alongside our normal menu items and weekend grill, we will also be featuring premium packaged salads, sandwiches, and snacks. Please let us know what you think – we will evaluate their success within the first month. DINNER RESERVATIONS / JONAS - POINT OF SALE (POS) SYSTEM: To ensure we can continue providing excellent meals and service, we kindly request that you continue making dinner reservations for the Mesquite Grill through the ForeTees App. Starting November 1st, we will be transitioning to a new POS system. While you will still use the same ForeTees App, the new reservation platform will look a little different, similar to OpenTable. The Jonas system will also offer an improved portal for reviewing food and beverage charges. Please watch for additional communications and training opportunities on this platform coming soon.

Dear Tonto Verde Members, Welcome back to a fun-filled season at Tonto Verde! As our Board President, Tom Schouten, mentioned in his President’s message, we’re excited to share some

fantastic updates in our food and beverage operations. You can look forward to new and revised menus, fresh weekly specials, and a strong focus on member satisfaction with enhanced supervision and training for all our team members. Although our golf courses officially open in the third and fourth weeks of October, there are plenty of exciting offerings to kick off the season!

ROADWAY RENOVATION:

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we repaved 2.8 miles of roadway in Tonto Verde. Over the next couple of weeks, road crews will be back to complete the process to reposition manhole covers and place fire hydrant reflectors. Please note that additional roadwork will continue in other areas of Tonto Verde next summer. NEW CULINARY EXPERIENCES: We’re delighted to introduce new menu items, fresh weekly specials, an expanded Sunday Brunch, and fun events this October. Be sure to check out the Events and Activities listed on our website for more details. The Mesquite Grill will offer a full lunch and dinner menu on Tuesdays beginning October 22nd, with service hours from 11 AM to 8 PM, Tuesday through Saturday. On Sundays, brunch begins at 10 AM, followed by dinner at 4 PM. MEMBER PROFILE / PHOTO UPDATES: Congratulations to Don & Gail Schultz for winning a $100 gift card for submitting their profile photo! Our quest to have all members update their profiles continues. We’re extending the $100 gift card drawing through October for members who submit recent photos for their profiles. These photos will be used for staff training in the restaurant and administration office, enabling us to provide more personalized and efficient service. You can upload your photos directly on the website under "Directory of Residents - Edit My Profile."
