VEHICLE SAFETY

The key to staying safe is to be aware of your surroundings. If you notice something or someone suspicious, contact the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Tip Line at 602-876-8477. Control your keys. Never leave an ID tag on your key ring. If your keys are lost or stolen, this could help a thief access your home or car. Always lock your car and close windows all the way. Always have your key in hand before reaching your car door. Never leave your vehicle running or leave valuables in the front or backseat. Keep everything of value in the trunk. Keep your car’s VIN, license plate number, and complete description in a safe place at home.
