This camp offers a dynamic blend of musical exploration and creative fun. Campers will get hands-on experience with a variety of instruments, participate in lively sing-alongs, and engage in rhythmic games that make learning music both enjoyable and educational. At the end of each day, campers enjoy water-based games and activities on the Bertschi campus. The week includes a field trip to MoPOP and the Artists At Play playground at the Seattle Center. Curious Cooking Spend the day exploring the world of cooking and baking! Have you ever wondered about the history of pizza? Where did chocolate chip cookies come from? How exactly does yeast work to help dough rise? Join curious cooking to let your knowledge of food flourish! • Note: This camp takes place twice during the summer; please limit your registration to one so that we have space for others to enjoy the cooking camp experience. Dive into a week of discovery and creativity with PNW Adventures. Campers will explore the region’s unique geography through creative projects, examining the majestic mountains to coastal ecosystems. With activities like map-making, art inspired by local wildlife, and storytelling about indigenous cultures, campers will gain a deep appreciation for the PNW’s natural beauty and cultural richness. At the end of the day, campers enjoy water-based games and activities on the Bertschi campus. The week includes a field trip to Carkeek Park. Soccer • Entering grades 3-6 • $ 440 • Instructor: Tito Ramsey * This soccer camp celebrates the first ever FIFA CLUB World Cup, which begins this summer, hosted by the United States. We will lace up our boots and hone our soccer skills while learning about the different countries represented in the contest. Teams will give us a chance to explore a wide range of global geography, cultural customs, and style of play. Through the lens of the great sport that connects us all, we will run, play, cook, watch, listen, and learn about this great sport and the different places where it is cherished around the world. Scrapbooking/Photography Have you ever wondered what to do with an empty journal or scrapbook? Together we will explore the basics of scrapbooking, collaging, and stenciling. What about using photos in your scrapbook? See the world through the lens of a camera, and explore how to use photography to express your creative side. No prior photography experience needed. From photos to scraps to writing, learn how a blank journal can become a representation of you. LEGO®: STEM Challenge + Radical Rides Core Engineering and Transportation • Entering grades 3-6 • $ 440 • Instructor: Play-Well TEKnologies Design and innovate during a full day of LEGO ® fun with an experienced Play-Well TEKnologies instructor. This camp explores how the Puget Sound region supports farming from rural to urban settings. Campers will gain hands-on experience using basic farming tools, learn to plant and maintain their

own plants and vegetables, and develop an important

connection to the land. At the end of the day, campers enjoy water-based games and activities on the Bertschi

campus. The week includes a field trip to Remlinger Farm. Stop Motion Animation & Digital Music • Entering grades 3-6 • $ 550 • Instructor: Tito Ramsey *

This interdisciplinary camp will explore both stop motion animation and digital music production. Each day begins with the hands-on building of arts and crafts, paints and clay, creature creation, landscape building, and writing storylines. Using iPads, campers will bring their creations to life. The second half of the day, campers will learn how to use voice over, sound effects, and music to add depth and emotion to their multi-dimensional media creations. into a vibrant puppet show, all in Spanish. Throughout the week, campers dive deep into Spanish language and culture while designing their own puppets, crafting dialogue, and bringing characters to life. Campers

will work on improving their Spanish speaking and listening skills, building confidence in a fun and supportive setting. On the final day, we will present the puppet show to a live audience. Taekwondo Taekwondo2xcell is a program that uses the practice of Taekwondo as a catalyst to teach social emotional skills. Blast off into a galaxy of fun at this camp geared to young explorers! We will discover the wonders of space through hands-on activities, interactive games, and creative projects. Campers will learn about planets, stars, rockets, and astronauts, and we will build space-themed crafts, participate in mini rocket launches, and explore the mysteries of the universe. At the end of the day, kids enjoy water-based games and activities on the Bertschi campus.

Join us for a fun-filled adventure at Reduce- Reuse-Recycle camp where young campers will learn how to protect the planet through creativity and hands-on activities. Through crafting, games, and outdoor projects, campers deepen their understanding of the importance of recycling, reusing materials, and reducing waste. From building eco-friendly creations to learning about nature and sustainability, campers will gain the skills to become little environmental heroes. At the end of the day, campers enjoy water-based games and activities on the Bertschi campus. The week includes a field trip to the Burke Museum. Machine Sewing: Summer Styles • Entering grades 3-6 • $ 550 • Instructor: Little Hands Creations Is your wardrobe in need of a little refresh? Look no further! Our Summer Styles Clothing & Accessories machine sewing camp is tailored for all students and skill levels, whether brand new to sewing or bringing some stitching experience. New campers will complete a beginner sewing curriculum while more experienced campers can build off their existing skills to take their sewing abilities to the next level. From stylish summer tops to trendy bucket hats, and even practical water bottle holders, the possibilities are endless! • Note: for new sewers, the first day of camp is mandatory All Sport Camp • Entering grades 3-6 • $ 550 • Instructor: Tarren Sumler * Campers will explore a variety of sports including basketball, volleyball, hockey, and pickleball. Join us on an unforgettable journey beneath the waves as we explore the mysteries of the ocean through hands-on activities, creative arts, and outdoor adventures. Whether you’re a budding marine biologist or just love the ocean, Ocean Odyssey is the place to discover the beauty of marine life and ocean ecosystems. At the end of the day, campers enjoy water-based games and activities on the Bertschi campus. The week includes a field trip to the Seattle Aquarium. This camp will guide kids in the planning, organization, and creation of an art gallery showcase. We will do everything from deciding on a theme, creating the artwork, setting up a gallery space, and making invitations. We will strive to think out-of-the-box and re-envision what a modern-day art gallery could look like. The artwork created will be inspired by loose parts and non-traditional art materials. We will also look at modern day artists for inspiration (all materials included). Creating for the Camera • Entering grades 3-6 • $ 650 • Instructor: Seattle Children’s Theatre In 3...2...1...The camera is rolling and you get to explore! Creating for the Camera takes campers on a creative journey of cinematic proportions through the camera lens. We will explore cinematic genres, learn the fundamentals of storytelling, and explore creative writing to showcase through the creation of our very own films. Quiet on set! Chain Reaction Engineers Art Gallery Showcase • Entering grades 3-6 • $ 550 • Instructor: Kim Fitzharris *

Machine Sewing: Stuffed Animals • Entering grades 3-6 • $ 550 • Instructor: Little Hands Creations

Is there such a thing as too many stuffed animals? Never! Create the fluffiest and stuffiest projects in this awesome machine sewing class. New campers will complete a beginner sewing curriculum while more experienced campers can build off their existing skills to take their sewing abilities to the next level. This camp is student-led and self-paced. Projects include classic stuffies such as bears and elephants, as well as sea creatures, robots and rocket ships, cute pillows, stuffed food, and so much more. • Note: for new sewers, the first day of camp is mandatory Sketch Comedy • Entering grades 3-6 • $ 650 • Instructor: Seattle Children’s Theatre Lights, camera, laughter! Campers will explore the world of comedy through creative writing, skit development, and acting. We will learn how to create our own hilarious characters, funny scenarios, and comedic timing. Whether you are a budding comedian or just love to make people laugh, this camp will help you develop your sense of humor while building confidence on stage. .

Campers will dive into the world of Rube Goldberg machines to create fun and complex contraptions to complete

simple tasks—like ringing a bell. Throughout the week, campers explore basic physics concepts such as work, gravity, force, and momentum, while

building with simple machines like levers, pulleys, and inclined

planes. This is a great way for kids to combine creativity and mechanical concepts, all while learning in a fun environment.
