HELPFUL REMINDERS FROM SECURITY Lock your doors, car, cart & bikes at night. If you hear anything, promptly notify Security. Contact 911 first in an emergency, then Security. There are 3 options to call the Security Gate: 1. Dial 760 328 - 3834 then enter ext 260 2. Dial 760 328 - 3834 then push the star key 3. Dial 770 - 0065 Everyone must obey stop signs, whether in a car, cart or on a bicycle. Park your vehicle so it does not protrude on the street. Resort speed is 10 MPH. Pull over immediately when you see a flashing blue or light on a Security vehicle. If you are expecting Guests, call Security for a pass prior to their arrival.
Beginner Bridge with Audrey Grant
This is a learn to play bridge starting from scratch program using an interactive audio visual teaching tool authored by Audrey Grant. Audrey is North America’s leading authority on bridge and her tutorial products are easy to understand. You will need pen, paper and a pack of ordinary playing cards less jokers. Some other supplies may also be necessary over time ($15 or less). These sessions are open to all owners and renters living at ORPS . Starts Wednesday, January 6
NEW HANG OUT AREA FOR YOUR PETS!
In December, the Board opened up the common area outside the guard shack continuing on to the Ramon Road entrance, for owners to walk their dogs.
You will no longer be required to walk your pet down the street from the guard shack to Ramon Road. Your pets can now romp through the green grasses of home. This is for a one year trial that started on November 16. Any safety or nuisance issues that may arise during this trial will be addressed by the Board if and when they result. In January, the Board will consider a rule change that will allow owners to dine with their well - behaved dogs in the patio area adjacent to Papa Dan’s Restaurant and across from the Convenience Store. Pets will not be allowed to move inside the restaurant, into the pool - side patio area, or any other common area of the Resort. This would be for a one year trial starting from the date the rule change is approved. Owners with comments regarding this new rule change should write the Board of Directors and attend the Board meeting on January 18, at 1PM, in the La Palma Auditorium. Remember, pets must always be on leash and under the supervision and restraint of the owner.
