marbled endpapers, top edge gilt, others untrimmed. Colour frontispiece, 28 colour plates with captioned tissue guards, and 86 pages of black and white plates. Gift inscription to Pamela Villiers, née Flower, from her father upon the occasion of her marriage to Sir Charles Hyde Villiers in June 1938.
