Jan. 18: Community Crab Feed
Dec. 30: 32nd annual Food Drive at Town Center Corte Madera It’s the giving season, so do a good deed and drop off your non-perishable food items at Town Center Corte Madera on Dec. 30. Located at 100 Corte Madera Town Center in Corte Madera, a giant turkey serves as an indicator of where to drop off your donations. Dec. 31 is the last day to drop off goods, once collected the San Francisco Marin Food Bank will distribute to families in need this holiday season. Jan. 10: Rollin’ Into the New Year On Jan. 10 grab your favorite roller skates/blades, scooter or skateboard and head to McInnis Park from 5 to 7 p.m. to show off your skills. Ring in the New Year at 310 Smith Ranch Road in McInnis Park and enjoy a cup of hot cocoa and munch on some light snacks provided by the park’s team. Be sure to also come equipped with your safety gear (i.e. helmets and optional padding). Registration is not required, for more information visit marincounty.gov .
Jan. 11: Saturday Morning Puppet Series! Marin Theatre Company has started a new program for families to enjoy a delightful Puppet Theatre Show. The Jan. 11 show will be held at the Mill Valley Public Library, 375 Throckmorton Ave. in Mill Valley at 11 a.m. Hands-on workshops at each show will be available for an additional cost. Tickets are $20 for kids 18 and under and $25 for adults, for more information visit marintheatre.org .
The Tam Valley Community Center, 203 Marin Ave. in Mill Valley, is hosting a crab feed for local residents. Head to the community center on Jan. 18 to eat your weight in crab while getting to know more about your neighbor.
