Santa Rosa Tree Lighting Celebration The Tree Lighting Celebration on Courthouse Square, 600-636 Fourth St. in Santa Rosa, marked the countdown to Christmas. The day after Thanksgiving attendees headed to downtown Santa Rosa to sip on hot chocolate and gaze in awe at the ice-skating show put on by the Redwood Ice Theatre Company (word on the street is Snoopy made an appearance). Kiddos were also able to take pictures with Santa and tell him all their Christmas wishes. The tree lighting celebration also commemorated the start of ice skating on the square—the last day to skate is Dec. 31. For more information visit downtownsantarosa.org.
This year marked the 41st Annual Tree Lighting Celebration.
Ice skaters from Redwood Ice Theatre Company gave attendees a jolly good show on Nov. 29.
