The Chelan County PUD meticulously manages the lake’s water levels, maintaining them within a range of 1,084 to 1,100 feet above sea level. A fascinating seasonal rhythm unfolds as the lake’s elevation drops by 20 feet each fall and winter, creating space from the influx of autumn precipitation and the spring runoff from the mountain snowpack.
