If you are enrolled in a USG healthcare plan and are not a tobacco user, or if the working spouse surcharge doesn’t apply to you, and you did not update your tobacco and/or working spouse statuses for 2025 , you are now being assessed an additional $150 per month per surcharge (for each dependent age 18 and older) beginning January 1, 2025. You still have an opportunity through February 15 to update your certifications.
