In 1995, Castle Galleries opened its first retail outlet in Stratford-upon-Avon. Its owner, Ian Weatherby-Blythe, aspired to run a successful gallery that provided a welcoming, comfortable environment to enjoy art. His vision was to make fine art more accessible to the ordinary man. 20 years on, that business has grown from one independent gallery, into a national brand, with over 30 galleries throughout the UK and avid collectors all over the world. Specialising in original and hand signed limited edition works from today’s finest contemporary artists, Castle Galleries is now the UK’s leading group of retail art galleries. After two decades in the business, Castle Galleries continues to value its heritage, and the first gallery’s doors in Stratford- upon-Avon remain open. The key to that success? Passion. We believe it’s our staff’s passion and commitment to excellence that sets Castle Galleries apart. Underlying everything we do is a drive to excel and an unrivalled passion for the art we sell. Too often great art is confined to the private homes of collectors, destined never to be enjoyed by the public. Our aim is to break down those barriers and make art accessible to all – no exclusion, no restrictions – just beautiful art which everyone can enjoy. “The thing that sets Castle Galleries apart is our passion – we are passionate about our artists, passionate about our work
