Ashaad Ashaad’s journey from Breakthrough Providence middle school student to Teaching Fellow to math teacher highlights the power of representation and mentorship in education. Growing up with few Black teachers, Ashaad’s exposure to one in tenth grade was pivotal, shaping his teaching approach.
