MAKE GMAIL YOUR MOST PRODUCTIVE TOOL
With These 7 Quick Management Tips
5. Prioritize your layout. Gmail offers different layouts you can use to change the priority of the messages you see. If you’d rather see only your most urgent messages first, simply adjust your layout under settings. 6. Make searching easy. Whenever you have an email you think you’ll need to pull up later, you can forward the email to yourself and add a few unique keywords to make searching for it later much easier. 7. Use multiple accounts. You can use Gmail as a hub for other email accounts you own and can use these addresses to send emails right from your inbox. All you have to do is add the other accounts to your Gmail setup under settings, then change the From label whenever you send an email. Gmail is full of handy little secrets for efficiency and organization, so take some time to explore and implement a few of them and discover how productive you can really be. As you start heading back into the office, you’ll likely have to tackle a mountain of emails you just couldn’t get to while working from home. Here are seven quick tips for managing your Gmail inbox so your transition is a little easier. 1. Activate quick settings. Inside your inbox drop-down menu, you can change your theme, inbox layout, and other details all without leaving your messages. You can even activate previews of messages before you read them. 2. Use filters. Specific filters can be automatically applied to incoming emails to categorize and organize your inbox. Simply search for a specific email in the search bar, and you’ll see the option to create a filter for it. 3. Make an alias. When signing up for another platform or subscribing to something, you can easily create a throwaway username like username_junk@gmail.com without changing any settings. It’ll automatically deliver emails from this source to your junk folder. 4. Set reminders. Gmail makes it easy to set reminders right in the app via the Tasks button. You can even add an email to an existing task to integrate the message as part of your reminder.

Nathanael Foster may only be starting his second month with AZCOMP, but the innovation he’s bringing to his role is already evident. That’s because when you’re our very first inside sales representative, you get to figure out exactly how the position can help both our business and our customers thrive. “Reaching out to prospective customers is about a lot more than just generating leads,” Nathanael says of his job. “It’s about explaining how dedicated AZCOMP is to making a difference in the work doctors can do and how that translates to helping patients.” After a recent church mission to some economically challenged neighborhoods in the Washington, D.C., area, Nathanael has a newfound respect for what it means to help people. “It’s about empathy and connection,” he says. “You need both to make a positive difference in anything you do.” Nathanael’s insightful mindset is what makes us so thrilled to welcome him to our team.
