remier Compaction Systems (PCS) is cur- rently providing expert service for all phases of the waste equipment industry in New Jersey, New York, Con- necticut, and Northeastern Pennsylvania region. The current PCS client base con- sists of retail, manufacturing, condo/apartment complexes, distribution, pharmaceutical, packaging, schools, hospitals, municipals (Departments of Public Works), supermarkets, and nursing homes. PCS recently completed several installs that finished under budget and included quality workmanship that exceeds industry standards. PCS maintains a full inven- tory of parts and related equip- ment within the PCS shop as well as in our service vehicles. Currently, PCS is developing a management program what will bar code all stock parts and equipment. The bar code systemwill also be implement- ed for all our compactors and balers in the field. This will expedite the response time for our clients, and better manage the inventory. All service techs will have their own I-Pads to insure quality control in field service. This system will also increase office inventory and maintain the highest level of service for our clients. As humans have begun to learn that our ecosystem is a fragile organism, capable of damage we previously be- lieved to be repairable, we must recognize and create solutions to the impact we a affecting on our planet. Years ago we simply “recycled” those items we knew to be recy- clable, currently we need to find better ways to manage our recycling efforts, so “Sus- tainability” became the new key effort to protecting our environment. Recycling has become “Sustainability”, and will have lasting effects that will drive to protect the beauty of our environment. The larg- est impact on the planet in- evitably comes from use of our resources without an outlined design for the output. While it is unrealistic to expect that one model will work for every type of business, there must be companies that can study the underlying problems that companies encounter while attempting to become sustain- able, and create technologies that help maintain those pro- cesses. Through trade-marked systems and database track- ing, sustainability can become a natural part of any business’ profile once a solid program has been designed and ex- ecuted.
