Modular, packaged central plants are custom designed to owners’ and engineers’ project requirements. The Canariis packaged plant reduces the customer’s risk while improv- ing quality and shortening the overall construction sched- ule. Their packaged central
plant concept is commonly utilized on hospitals, data cen- ters, manufacturing facilities, schools, and casinos. Applica- tions can be new construction, retrofit or expansion. Canariis offers a wide range of Fire Pump Systems built to NFPA 20 standards, with systems ranging from 150 to 5,000 gpm. Some system options are diesel or electric, single or multi-pump designs, bypass piping, fire department connection, fuel tanks, genera- tors and backflow preventers. fire pump applications. Ev- ery manufactured system is electrically, hydrostatically and flow tested at job condi- tions prior to shipment at the Canariis factory. The test facility consists of a 24,000 gallon test tank equipped with permanently mounted flow sensors, manual valves, automatic valves, Y-strainers, differential pressure sensors, KW sensors, pressure gauges, suction pressure simulation pumping equipment and pip- ing connections from 2” to 24”. Canariis Corporation is a UL listed packaged system manu- facturer, with an in-house UL 508A panel shop. The design, manufacturing and testing process has been developed to assure ease of installation, simplified start-up procedures and many years of trouble-free service. Design engineers are provided with practical and dependable product infor- mation including equipment selections, specifications, and CAD drawings in 2D, 3D or Revit. Canariis is committed to flexibility on the package mounted equipment. Customer requests for specific manufac- turers (pumps, motors, valves, VFD’s, tanks, enclosures, etc.) can be accommodated. Constant Speed & Variable Speed Booster Systems are built in single or multi-pump assemblies to meet project requirements. Canariis offers standard catalog product as well as custom designs to fit every need. All fabrication is done by AWS D1.1 and ASME Section IX certified welders. Systems with end suction pumps are available in either a horizontal or vertical “Space Saver” configuration to fit through a standard doorway. Standard piping materials are galvanized steel, cooper, and stainless steel. HVAC systems are built to fit specific applications.
