LEMON BARS
DIRECTIONS: 1. Heat oven to 325 degrees
INGREDIENTS: 2 sticks butter, softened 2 cups all purpose flour 1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar 4 eggs, beaten
2. Blend Butter, Flour & Confectioner’s Sugar. Pat into ungreased 13x9x2 pan and bake for 18-20 minutes. 3. Blend filling ingredients and pour over crust. Return to oven and bake for 20 min- utes. YUMMY SLOPPY JOES INGREDIENTS:
1 2/3 cups canned crushed tomatoes 1/4 cup ketchup
1 Tbsp steak sauce 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/4 tsp ground mustard 1/4 tsp paprika 8 sandwich buns, split
2 lbs lean ground beef 1/2 cup chopped onion
2 Tbsps brown sugar 1 Tbsp white vinegar 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 celery ribs with leaves, chopped 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
DIRECTIONS: 1. In a Dutch oven over mediumheat brown your ground beef, onion, celery and green pepper until the meat is no longer pink and the veggies are tender; drain. 2. Preheat broiler.
