BIGANT RECRUITMENT
where our people make the difference
we’re a team
This is not a book of do’s and don’ts, these are a collection of ways of doing things that we’ve learnt over the years that help you and us to work well together.
being human in our approach
We break free from the shackles of a traditional agency and be who we want to be, so we are continuously looking at ways of being better. We want you to be proud to be working with us.
We don’t hide behind emails or messages but encourage you to talk with us, this helps to get to know each other which will help generate positive results for us both. It is risky business to assume things, so don’t be shy, please do ask us the questions you need answering. If we don’t know the answer, we will go and find it.
talk and walk
keeping things simple
you We work hard on our
recruitment processes to make them as simple and as effective as possible and so we do things in the right way that suits both you and us, all we ask is to follow them to make our relationship work brilliantly
If we say we’re going to do something we do it, please do the same. It doesn’t benefit either of us if we aren’t honest along the journey together. This means you don’t need to hide the fact you’re attending other interviews, no need to pretend you have a shorter or longer notice period, do let us know if you’re hoping to be counter offered with your current employment or you’re not confident in the positions we are working on with you. Help us, to help you. On the other hand, we’ll always be honest about our or customer feedback, conditions of job offers or the reason behind delays in decision making. no bull
We all have a vested interest in promoting BIG ANT in our interactions with customers, as we’re in this together. The happier we keep our customers, the more likely they will be the organisation that could offer you your next career opportunity. How you act and come across makes a big difference; it’s the little things like being on time for interview, preparing yourself fully by learning about the organisation or the interviewer prior to meeting them, dressing appropriately and ensuring you take all the necessary materials requested for the interview. Invest in this detail, and they may invest in you! everyone and everything matters
Things inevitably will go a little wrong from time to time. We do take pride in how we approach issues and problems to find a solution for you, and ensure they don’t happen again. Please work respectfully with us to help us achieve that.
sh*t happens
You’ve a responsibility to not share information or sensitive details that you may hear, or be party to, whilst being involved in an interview process. This means not talking about things that should be confidential, to friends or family and definitely not sharing on social media to the wider world !
confidentiality
give me a break
We all need a break but if we are working with you to find that next opportunity, let us know about any holidays you’ve pre- booked or any dates or times you can’t attend interviews. This could save some frustrations or surprises on the recruitment journey or further down the line with your new employment.
absence
We’re human, so sickness does happen. All we ask is you let us know if you can’t attend an interview with as much notice as possible. You can then rest up and focus on getting better whilst we try and reschedule your appointments. Our phones are managed 7 days a week, but you can leave a message overnight and we’ll pick up and action at 6am. Always use 01803 520850 option 1
