Overview: (details attached for show and in-house expenses)

Income

• Anticipate to sellout exhibit space with a wait list as in previous years. Exhibit sales rates increased slightly. • Expect attendance to more as attendees are taking advantage of the lower registration rates by registering early. • The sponsorship options were reviewed as we changed venues for Wednesday and Thursday entertainment. Wednesday entertainment was shifted from Freedom Hall back to 4 th Street Live and the Closing Concert was shifted to the Kentucky International Convention Center (KICC) which does not have suites like the Yum Center. Therefore, the revenue decreased by $59,500. Decreased opening reception by $30,000, show bags by $21,000 , and golf similar by $12,000 to be conservative, but if the opportunity arises consider offering additional sponsorships. Increased the sponsorship for Keynote, Woman’s Reception and Exhibitor Spotlight.

• Last year, we saw 9% growth in advertising revenue from the magazine and this year we expect it to be about the same or slightly lower than last year.

Expenses

• Building rental and show décor continue to increase as we expand space to West Wing. Expenses also include amortized cost for signage, coffee shop structure, booth structure for photo ops, and branding from prior year and over a period of three-five years. Original cost of $345,000 or $114,000 per year. • Using a new security company for temporary help as the current company management may be retiring, resulting in higher fees. • Change in hotel bus shuttle services to increase quality which also is at a higher cost. • Decrease ($377,000) in registration fee to the normal fee through the new registration service with MCI. Last year, it was higher due to the breach of the former registration company and MCI was able to expedite setup for a successful registration experience.
