Nature Base St. Saviour Operate all year
Nature Base offer sessions that provide the ‘base’ for families in green spaces and woodland, offering a rich multi–sensory environment to help strengthen family connections, enable connections with nature, and support wellbeing. The base is wheelchair–friendly but may have accessibility challenges in wet weather. They can host wheelchair users who want to participate in activities. They offer accessible parking, drop–off points, and toilets. Contact them in advance if you will be using a wheelchair. The Pallott Steam, Motor and General Museum is dedicated to preserving the island’s mechanical heritage. Step back in time and enjoy the vast and varied collection of steam engines, vintage and classic vehicles, agricultural implements, domestic items and much more. Most of the displays are located on ground-floor level adding to its accessibility and there are accessible toilet facilities and ramps. They have several wheelchairs available for visitors, plus there are chairs placed throughout the attraction for resting. First opening its doors in 1966, this all-in shopping and food experience boasts an extensive garden centre, gift shops with luxury goods, clothing, and pet products, along with a quaint tearoom that has become an island institution. There are accessible drop-off points and parking, along with ramped access to the entrance and level access throughout the complex. Accessible toilets can be found on-site, along with wheelchairs or mobility aids that can be provided.
