Jersey Heritage are a charity dedicated to protecting Jersey’s unique culture and heritage with seven must–visit attractions across the island plus amazing experiences throughout the year. They’ve developed Visual Stories , in conjunction with Autism Jersey to help their visitors explore the castles and museums and understand what to expect before their visit. A variety of the Jersey Heritage sites are wheelchair accessible, with accessible toilets, drop-off points, ‘Take a Break’ sensory bags and more available. View their Accessibility Statement . Jersey Kayak Adventures are fully qualified to cater for clients with special needs, with all equipment provided. Being able to swim is not a prerequisite and the sit-on-top kayaks are very stable and user–friendly. However, guests should be water confident. The team regularly work with charities like Mencap, have completed autism training and a course on Disability and Inclusions, plus there is a signing instructor.

Jersey Library offers a range of services from borrowing books, lunchtime talks, Eagle Lab facilities, workshops, and exhibitions. The library is accessible through automatic entrance doors and has wide aisles for wheelchair access. There are Blue Badge parking spaces with a one–hour limit immediately outside with a lift to the first floor. Accessible toilet facilities are also available.
