Rockland Help Centre celebrates 25 years

The Rockland Help Centre celebrated its 25 th anniversary this weekend, while also taking the time to honor one of their most devoted volunteers, Yvon Huppé, the for- mer president of the Help Centre, in lieu of his retirement. Tomark the occasion, the RocklandHelp Centre held a social gathering of music and dancing on Thursday, November 23, at the River Rock Inn. Some 100 people, 80 or so of which are volunteers of the Help Centre, were present during the evening. Clarence- Rockland city councillor, Carl Grimard, was in attendance to present a plaque of excel- lence to Yvon Huppé, in recognition of his years of service and commitment to the community.
