Using Mountz torque analyzers to ensure consistent quality can reduce the risk of lost products on the line or failures in the field. We have analyzers designed for the most efficient pass/fail assessments, models that use an internal computer to measure and display results in research and quality management environments, and even ones that connect to external torque sensors. Whatever variety you need, our torque testers are designed to fit into your processes and production environment.
RDA Selection Guide for EZ-TorQ III Joint Similutars for testing power torque tools
Mountz run down adapters (RDA) are designed to provide consistent and reliable torque readings for power-driven torque control tools. Run down adapters are used to simulate various joint characteristics and provide a more accurate torque reading during testing and calibration process.
Run down adapters are mounted in-line between the tool drive and the transducer of a torque analyzer or sensor, reducing the impact and irregular peaks that cause poor testing repeatability. Each RDA has an effective torque range and will supply repeatable torque data within that range if used correctly.

How to Implement an Effective Torque Measurement & Calibration Program A torque measurement and calibration program reduces risk and ensures conformity with quality standards and regulatory compliance. Torque measurement isn’t a single process or event in manufacturing products. It should occur in all three facets of the assembly process—prior, during, and after manufacturing. Measuring torque improves quality and process control. Learn how to implement a successful torque testing and calibration program.
