The 2025 judges panel comprised David Spencer, Lisa Orton, Paul Simpson, Zennie Sjölund, Nick Bryant, and Ana Ronco, each bringing unique regional knowledge and industry insight to the process. Once nominations close, their hard work begins. Judges individually score entries before reuniting to discuss and deliberate. This process allows every nomination to get a fair hearing. Each category is assessed on its own merits, based on criteria such as compliance, innovation, process improvement, leadership, and collaboration. Highly competitive categories can demand multiple rounds of discussion and re- evaluation. The outcome of these efforts is a painstakingly pruned shortlist of four to six finalists per category, published prior to the ceremony.
