On 5th June, 2025, the suspense ended, and the rigorous judging rounds paid off. Over 300 guests from around the globe gathered at the stunning Warsaw Polo Club to celebrate the industry’s best and brightest. Being shortlisted brings welcome visibility and a huge morale boost to teams that so often work behind the scenes. Winners were announced across multiple categories, including Payroll Manager of the Year, In- Country Payroll Provider and Best Use of Technology. Competition remained so fierce in some categories that judges gave special recognition with a Highly Commended award. The Global Payroll Awards are about more than shiny trophies (although the trophies are gorgeous ). They are genuinely globally inclusive, showcase best practices and contribute to a collective discussion of excellence, which can raise standards and inspire others to aim higher. Our judges often talk about their surprise and pleasure at quite how much they learn through the process. Entries from different regions and new companies reveal new trends, technologies, or approaches to universal challenges and introduce us to new players in the industry, including rising stars from the next generation of payroll professionals.
As our winners find the perfect place to display their spoils and we look through the photos from another memorable night at the GPAs, we are confident that payroll providers and global payroll professionals will continue to progress, innovate, lead and inspire in the year ahead, and that the Global Payroll Awards will return in 2026 to champion them.
