Some of Northern Ireland’s most impressive recent building projects have been shortlisted for the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) Awards 2022. The projects, which include school buildings, community hubs, a castle, and a cyber office building will be judged by an expert judging panel, with winners of the regional awards announced virtually in May. showcase the most inspirational initiatives and developments in land, real estate, construction and infrastructure. They recognise outstanding achievement, teamwork and companies. Amongst the NI shortlisted entries are Rossmar Special School in Limavady, Necarne Castle in Enniskillen, The North West Multi-Modal Transport Hub in Derry, and The Banks residential development in Bangor. The entries are shortlisted across six categories – Commercial Development, Community Benefit, Heritage, Public Sector, Refurbishment-Revitalisation and Residential. Companies still have the opportunity to enter an additional four categories – to be judged nationally – and have until 29th April to submit their entry.
